
Ingredients for Making No-oil Jeera Chicken Curry
- 400gm boneless chicken/500 gm bone-in chicken
- 1/4th cup thick dahi, whisked until smooth
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Puree of 1 tomato
- 2 tbsp jeera powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- salt to taste
- Handful of coriander, chopped
- 2 green chillies (optional)
Method for Making No-oil Jeera Chicken Curry
- In a large mixing bowl, add all the ingredients listed, and mix well. Leave it to marinate if possible, else can proceed immediately too.
- Heat a kadhai and add the marinated chicken to it. Cover and let it cook, stirring every few minutes. Adjust the amount of water you need. Add more water if you like a gravy, or can keep it semi-dry.
- Once the chicken is cooked, turn off the flame and add more coriander leaves to garnish. Serve hot.
