
Ingredients
- 1 pack (240ml) whipping cream OR 2 packs (240ml) fresh cream
- condensed milk to taste
- strawberries- 250 gm
- sugar- 2tbsp
- vanilla essence- 1 tsp
- white chocolate- 100gm
Method
- Wash and chop the strawberries into small pieces. Mix in 2 tbsp sugar and let it sit for 30mins-1hr. you will see it having formed into a syrup. Mash the strawberries slightly to release more syrup. Keep aside
- Take the cold whipping cream in a bowl, and whip till soft peaks. If using fresh cream, use as it is. It will not whip up because of low fat content.
- Add the strawberries and vanilla essence into the cream and mix. Add condensed milk to taste, according to your preference of sweetness.
- Mix together and let it freeze in an airtight container for 2-3 hrs. Mix and let it freeze again until solid.
- For the caramelised white chocolate, chop the white chocolate into small pieces and place in a wide microwavable dish. Heat for 30 second intervals until fully melted.
- Once it is fully melted, heat for 20 second intervals till it begins to harden up. mix between each interval.
- Once it starts hardening up, microwave for 10 second intervals, mixing between each interval. It will slowly start turning brown. Stop microwaving once it turns golden brown, and into small crumbs.
- You can mix this caramelised white chocolate into the ice cream once frozen, or sprinkle on top of each individual serving. Enjoy!
