Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato, peeled
- 1/4tsp red chilli powder
- 1/4tsp jeera powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp rice flour
- oil to roast
Method
- Cut the sweet potato into thick rounds and add to a mixing bowl.
- Add salt, jeera powder, red chilli powder and mix together.
- Add the rice atta and mix to coat. You can sprinkle some water to ensure the rice atta and masalas coat the rounds.
- Arrange them on a hot pan and add enough oil to roast. Cover and cook on both sides until crispy on both sides and cooked through.
Tip: This makes a great addition to children’s snack box at school. I usually like to cut the rounds into strips to look like fries, and pair it with a fruit in my son’s snack box which he enjoys.
