
Before you begin
- Time Taken: 30 minutes
- You can use any measurement unit for this recipe, like a tea-cup, steel bowl or the regular measuring cups.
- The ghee required will change according to the measurement used, and the texture of laddoo you prefer (powdery or firm)
- These can also be carried for a journey since there is no moisture content.
Ingredients for Making Besan-Atta Laddoos
- 2 measures besan
- 3 measures whole wheat atta
- 2 measures powdered sugar
- melted ghee as required
Method for Making Besan-Atta Laddoos
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee, roast besan and atta until fragrant and slightly golden brown.
- Let it cool down, then add the powdered sugar.
- Add melted ghee, little by little, mixing after each addition to reach a consistency which can be shaped into laddoos.
- Depending upon whether you like powdery laddoos or firm ones, add the required amount of melted ghee. Remember that the laddoos will firm up as they rest in the fridge because of the ghee in it.
- Refrigerate and consume within 4-5 days.
